AutoBox Express LLC ("we," "us," or "AutoBox Express") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through autoboxexpress.com, how we use it, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
AutoBox Express LLC is an interstate motor carrier based in Romeoville, Illinois. We own and operate our own enclosed trucks and also offer open transport, nationwide.
This policy covers autoboxexpress.com and the information you share with us when you ask for a quote, send us a message, or ship a vehicle with us.
We collect what you type into our forms.
The quote form has two steps. Step 1 asks for your email, pickup ZIP code, delivery ZIP code, and transport type. Step 2 asks for your first and last name, phone number, vehicle, whether it runs, and your pickup date.
The contact form asks for your name, email, and message.
When you send a form, we also record some technical details along with it:
Step 1 of the quote form is saved as soon as you submit it.
If you do not finish step 2 within about 30 minutes, our office gets an email with your step 1 details as an unfinished quote. That lets us follow up in case you ran into a problem or got interrupted.
We use your information to answer your message, prepare and send your quote, schedule your shipment, and keep you updated on pickup and delivery.
We use the technical details to block spam and abuse, to keep a record of what you agreed to, and to see which websites and pages send us customers.
We also use it when we have to, for example to meet legal requirements or to handle a claim.
Our site sets no cookies of its own. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, Google Analytics, the Meta pixel, session recording, or a chat widget. Because of that, you won't see a cookie banner.
We use your browser's session storage for two things. It carries your step 1 quote answers over to step 2. It also remembers how you arrived (the referring site, landing page, and campaign tags). Session storage only lives in your current browser tab and is cleared when you close the tab. The arrival info stays in your browser. It reaches us only if you submit a form.
If you click the light/dark mode button, your browser remembers that choice on your device using local storage. Nothing is stored unless you click it. To clear it, clear the site data in your browser.
Cloudflare is our host and security provider. It may set strictly necessary security cookies to block bots and abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms. If we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, it sets no cookies and only produces aggregate numbers.
A few companies help us run the site. They handle your information only to do that job.
We share your information with the driver assigned to your shipment, and with our insurer when needed for a shipment or a claim.
We may disclose information to authorities if the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety. If AutoBox Express is ever sold, your information may go to the buyer.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We never ask for card numbers through the website forms.
When you submit a form with your phone number, we may call or text that number about your quote or shipment. That means pricing, scheduling, and pickup and delivery updates.
Our texts are informational. We do not send marketing texts. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We honor quiet hours for texts, 8am to 9pm in your local time.
We do not share, sell or rent mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The emails we send are about your request, such as your confirmation and your quote. We do not send marketing newsletters.
Form submissions stay in our website database for up to 24 months, then they are deleted automatically.
Copies emailed to our office, and records for customers who book (bills of lading, condition reports, invoices, and claims), are kept as long as we need them for the shipment, claims, accounting, and legal requirements. Federal rules require us to keep shipping documents for at least one year.
You can ask to see the information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email info@autoboxexpress.com or call us.
We will check who you are using the contact details we already have on file. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Some records we may have to keep for legal or claims reasons. If so, we will tell you.
We do not track visitors across other websites, and we do not sell or share your data. So there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off.
Your information is processed and stored in the United States.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information: encrypted HTTPS connections, access limited to staff who need it, and bot protection on our forms.
No method of sending or storing data is 100 percent secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the regulators as the law requires.
Our website is not directed to children under 13. You must be 18 or older to book a shipment. If we learn that we have collected a child's information, we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. If the change is material, we will note it on this page.
